Congress sweeps BDCC Bank, wins 15 of 18 Seats

Congress-backed candidates have taken control of the Bengaluru District Central Co-operative Bank, winning 15 of 18 seats in Sunday’s polls, marking a boost to the ruling party’s cooperative influence.

BAMUL president D.K. Suresh credited the victory to Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar’s leadership and coordinated efforts of senior ministers and MLAs.

Congress secured seats across Bengaluru Urban and Rural districts, while the BJP won two seats with Congress-backed support. Suresh said the board will focus on strengthening services for farmers and citizens across 36 Assembly constituencies.
