Cong wary of BJP support to Ex Commissioner

Former State Cooperative Election Commission Commissioner, Ganesh Shankar Mishra attracted media attention when Congress leaders of Chhattisgarh accused BJP of sheltering a corrupt official.

Congress found it funny that BJP MPs from the state would meet Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and ask him to protect a corrupt official. Congress leaders Shailesh Nitin Trivedi and Girish Devangan said this in a media briefing, reports the Pioneer.

The Congress leaders alleged that Mishra was a corrupt officer and was involved in Mishra’s name is being cited in the Radius Water Scam in Durg district. Congress govt of the state earlier removed him from his post.
