Colloquium: States present their case-studies

Soon after the inauguration, participants of Colloquium were divided into 16 groups to prepare status paper on their respective states. On the second day representatives from each state made presentation and expressed their views on “current status and strengthening of Cooperative Training and Education in India.”

Mrs Jayashree Muralidharan, IAS, RCS of Tamil Nadu graced the occasion as Chief Guest, which was followed by the valedictory function. In which, Secretary, NCCT Mohan Kumar Mishra welcomed all the dignitaries in general and RCS Tamil Nadu in Particular.

In his welcome address he said training and recruitment and funding pattern should be streamlined. He also underlined the need for a proper training policy.

Joint Director NCCT, Dr. Ranjana Devi presented main recommendations as suggested by various training institutes which included knowledge of necessary legal provisions for imparting necessary training, need for framing of training policies, linking training programmes for organisational growth, upgradation of training material at regular intervals etc

Muralidharan in her speech put emphasis on the need based training programmes for skill development through customized training programmes, she also emphasized the importance of E-learning.

Director General, NCCT Dr. Dinesh in his felicitation address highlighted the need for training programmes for board of Directors (induction and Refresher course), importance of skill development, need for preparing case studies and writing books by faculty members to the entire colloquium crew.

NCCT thanked NICM Director and his team of Deputy Directors, Faculty Members and Staff Members for making best arrangements for the 3rd colloquium.
