The Cooperative Bank of India (COBI) organized a one-day training programme on “Cooperative Management System”, with special focus on KRIBHCO management, on Wednesday at its Head Office in Noida.

The programme was conducted for 20 newly joined officers of KRIBHCO with the objective of sensitizing them to the cooperative structure, management system, work culture, and value-based environment of the cooperative sector.

In his inaugural address, Dr. V. K. Dubey emphasized that training is a vital tool for enhancing human competency and behavioral change, which helps in creating a healthy and efficient working environment in cooperative organizations.

He highlighted the importance of understanding cooperative philosophy, organizational functioning, and the roles and responsibilities of cooperative employees.

Key topics discussed included cooperative principles and values, KRIBHCO’s functioning, government initiatives under the Ministry of Cooperation, the legal framework of cooperatives in India, and employee performance.

Participants actively interacted during the sessions and expressed satisfaction with the programme, recommending its inclusion in future KRIBHCO induction courses. KRIBHCO officials thanked COBI for organizing the successful training programme.
