COBI organizes training program for NAFED staff

The Cooperative Bank of India (COBI) successfully organized a one-day training program for Group C and D staff of NAFED on 20th May 2025 at the NAFED Head Office, New Delhi.

The primary objective of the program was to enhance awareness and skills related to cooperative management and other emerging areas crucial for efficient functioning in the cooperative sector.

 A total of 53 participants from NAFED took part in the training. The program featured sessions led by seasoned experts in their respective fields.

The first session on the Multi-State Cooperative Societies (MSCS) Act was delivered by Dr. V.K. Dubey, Managing Director of COBI. He provided an in-depth overview of the MSCS Act, explaining its legal structure, framework, and its significance for cooperative organizations like NAFED.

The second session focused on Cyber Security and was conducted by Shri S.C. Pradhan, Principal, DCTC, New Delhi. This session highlighted the growing importance of cybersecurity in cooperative institutions. It offered practical strategies for securing digital systems and mitigating cyber risks.

Participants responded positively to the training, expressing appreciation for the insightful and practical knowledge shared by the expert faculty.
