The Cooperative Bank of India (COBI) successfully organized training programmes on “Cooperative Thoughts and Its Management” for personnel of KRIBHCO and IFFCO on September 2 and 3, 2025, respectively.
At KRIBHCO, the programme was designed for newly recruited employees, focusing on cooperative models, management systems, and recent changes in the MSCS Act.
Sessions highlighted the importance of the International Cooperative Year 2025, employee performance in the cooperative framework, and evolving government policies. D.K. Yadav, Senior Manager (HR), attended the valediction and appreciated COBI’s efforts. Participants suggested extending the programme duration to two or three days.
At IFFCO, the training emphasized new developments in the cooperative sector with a focus on the National Cooperative Policy.
The inaugural session was attended by Manish Gupta, Director (IT), and Santosh Shukla. Employees actively engaged through queries and discussions, expressing satisfaction and recommending similar programmes for all IFFCO staff.
Dr. V.K. Dubey, Managing Director, COBI, thanked both KRIBHCO and IFFCO for their support and assured continued training support. He also announced that COBI has introduced several short-term and one-year diploma courses in cooperative banking and management to strengthen knowledge in the sector.
