Co-operators remember Baba Saheb across nation

A champion of the downtrodden and an architect of Indian Constitution, Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedakar was remembered by co-operators across states. NCUI President Dileep Sanghani paid tributes to Baba Saheb in Gandhinagar.

Offering floral tributes to the architect of Indian Law Book at the headquarters of GUJCOMASOL in Gandhi Nagar, Sanghani said that the aim of Baba Saheb and that of cooperatives are not different.

Baba Saheb wanted to pull the downtrodden from the grip of poverty so do cooperatives through their vast network across India, said the President of the apex body of co-ops in the country.

Paying his tributes IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote “Paying My Tributes to father of Indian constitution Bharat Ratna Dr. B R Ambedakar on his birth anniversary today. He was the sculptor of our constitution, great Jurist, an Economist & a Social reformer.”

ICA AP President Dr Chandra Pal Singh said that Baba Saheb represented what was best in the Indian tradition and we remember him today for his unforgettable contributions.

Both the Prime Minister and the Union Cooperation Minister also paid tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. B R Ambedakar on this occasion.
