The Day 2 of the 72nd All India Cooperative Week, celebrated nationwide from 14 to 20 November 2025, was marked with programmes organised across several states.
This year’s overarching theme, “Cooperatives as Vehicles for Atmanirbhar Bharat,” continues to guide discussions, seminars, and awareness events being conducted by various cooperative institutions.
Day 2 focused on the sub-theme, “Tribhuvan Sahakari University (TSU) Research and Training Transforming Cooperative Education.” Events held in multiple states highlighted how TSU is playing a leading role in reshaping cooperative education through advanced research, modern training modules, and capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperative governance.
At ICM Guwahati, the celebration-organised in association with Nagarik Samabay Bank-brought together officials, educators, and cooperative leaders who discussed the growing need for innovation, skilling, and knowledge-based support for cooperative societies. Speakers emphasised that research-oriented education is essential for empowering cooperatives to adapt to new economic challenges.
Several states marked the second day with workshops, expert lectures, and awareness campaigns, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the cooperative movement.
