Pioneer reports say UNICEF organised a meet on the theme of mobilising action and resources for children in Madhya Pradesh recently, in which among others, co-operatives are also taking part.
Shammuddin Managing Director of MP state cooperative dairy federation talked about the federation’s activities and said they would propagate the message of breast feeding through their milk packets.
The federation was the lone participant from the cooperative sector. Sources say there are scores of cooperative bodies in the state willing to support UNICEF.
