The Maharashtra consumer commission has ordered the builder Kiran and Harsukhlal Hemani to refund Rs 13 lakhs.
This amount was collected from the residents of Heritage View Cooperative Housing Society in Bombay for meeting the costs of society formation, maintenance and other things.
The builder had failed to comply with the statutory obligations. The members of the cooperative housing society had filed the complaint with the state consumer commission.
