According to an online source, former CEO B.S. Shashikala of Brahmashree multipurpose cooperative society in Puttur in Dakshin Kannada district is facing police complaint.
It is being alleged that former CEO B.S. Shashikala caused a huge loss to the cooperative by not properly maintaining accounts and getting them audited.
President of the cooperative has lodged a complaint with the Puttur police against the former CEO.
The scam came to light when the accounts of the cooperative were recently audited. As per the complaint, the accounts showed a difference of Rs. 1,06,20,000.
