Rajasthan’s Cooperative Department marked the UN-declared International Year of Cooperatives 2025 by launching innovative public services under the theme “Prosperity through Cooperation.”
In Udaipur, the state’s first cooperative-based two-wheeler rental service, Co-op Ride, was inaugurated by Cooperation Minister Gautam Kumar Dak. The service aims to offer affordable and eco-friendly transport options to tourists, students, and daily commuters.
Minister Dak emphasized the initiative as a breakthrough in using cooperative models for public benefit. The event drew participation from local leaders and cooperative officials.
Additionally, Dak inaugurated a new Cooperative Supermarket by Udaipur Sahkari Upbhokta Thok Bhandar, committed to providing quality groceries at fair prices. These efforts underscore Rajasthan’s push to modernize and expand cooperatives in diverse sectors like mobility and retail.
