On the occasion of Bihar Day on March 22, 2026, a state-level event themed “Unnat Bihar – Ujjwal Bihar” was held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The event showcased the state’s development initiatives and future vision.
As part of the celebrations, the Cooperation Department set up a dedicated “Sahkarita Mandap” to highlight the role of cooperatives in Bihar’s growth. The pavilion was inaugurated by Dr. Pramod Kumar, Minister of the Cooperation Department.
The mandap aims to spread awareness about cooperative initiatives, schemes, and their contribution to strengthening rural livelihoods and financial inclusion. It also provides a platform to showcase achievements and innovations in the cooperative sector, aligning with the state’s goal of inclusive and sustainable development.
