Co-op ministers’ meet: Rawat seeks end of Parivarvad

Uttarakhand Cooperative Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat presented many suggestions including ending familialism from co-ops before Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah during the National Conference of State Cooperative Ministers.

Other suggestions include Collateral Security limit should be set for Medium and Long term loans, campus of Cooperative University should be in every state, recruitment should be done in co-ops in a transparent manner.

He further added that we have converted PACCs to Multi Purpose Co-ops and 84 percent of them are in profit by providing them market opportunities.

“We are working on the expansion of Doon Silk and the profit of Uttarakhand Cooperative Silk has come to Rs 1 crore”, he said while patting his government led by Pushkar Dhami.

Uttarakhand Cooperative Secretary BVRC Parshottam, Cooperative Registrar Alok Kumar Pandey and others were present on the occasion.
