Co-op fraudster arrested in Nepal

Nepal Police have arrested a woman who fled with around Rs 20 million of depositors from a cooperative.

Pramita Sitaula, an operator working in the Naglo Deep Saving and Credit Cooperative in Kathmandu was arrested a couple of days ago, reports Nepal media.

A resident of Kathmandu, Sitaula, 32 was arrested from Bidur, Nuwakot. Earlier, Patna High Court had fined her Rs 1.8 million and announced a month jail term.
