Co-op Export House: Co-ops to play role in commodity trade

The implementation of agriculture export policy with changes in the cooperative sector after the formation of the Ministry of Cooperation and credit support have brought about a huge change in the trade capacity of these collectives.

The daily The Pioneer reports commodity trade has been an important part of the global economy and cooperatives in India are expected to show this in the coming days.

It is reported that there is a ready-made six clusters in Maharashtra through collectives for grapes, mango, pomegranate, banana, oranges and onion.

Analysts say agriculture through cooperatives can play a big role in strengthening the country’s export policy.
