The Aslali Seva Sahakari Mandali Ltd., founded in 1907, has been honoured with the NCDC Regional Award for Cooperative Excellence – 2025 for its exemplary contribution to the cooperative sector. Under the leadership of Ghanshyam Amin, who has guided the Mandali for 28 years, the society has become a benchmark for rural prosperity, community development, and cooperative discipline.
The award for Best Primary Cooperative Society in Gujarat, under the Primary Agricultural Credit Society (PACS) category, was presented by Dilip Sanghani, NCUI Chairman, at Hotel German Palace, Gandhinagar, in the presence of Tejas Patel and Sanjay Kumar. Directors Ajit Patel and Atmaram Patel received the award on behalf of the society.
With around 400 members, a turnover of Rs 11 crore, deposits of Rs 1.67 crore, and a net profit of Rs 75.60 lakh, the Mandali excels in agriculture credit, seed and fertilizer distribution, dairy development, consumer goods supply, and rural welfare programs. Its focus on financial inclusion, women’s participation, and sustainable development has set a model for other PACS.
Ghanshyam Amin’s dynamic leadership and commitment to cooperative values have earned the Mandali multiple recognitions. The NCDC award affirms its sustained excellence, ethical governance, and contribution to “Sahakar Se Samriddhi”, Prosperity through Cooperation.
