In a video message, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi said that the upcoming Cooperative Congress scheduled for 1st and 2nd July, will provide a platform for making the strategy for the growth and development of the cooperative sector.
“Different ideas and issues pertaining to the cooperative sector will be exchanged during the two-day event”, said Awasthi.
He further added, “In order to fulfill the vision of the Prime Minister of India of ‘Sahakar Se Samriddhi’, under the able leadership of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah many new initiatives have been taken and challenges pertaining to the cooperative sector were also addressed”.
“The biggest initiative taken under his leadership is making the world’s largest grain storage plan in the cooperative sector”, the IFFCO MD underlined.
The 17th Indian Cooperative Congress will be inaugurated by Prime Minister of India-Narendra Modi and presided over by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. Many other ministers will also grace the occasion.
