CM promises forming women co-ops across Karnataka

The Karnataka Government will set up multipurpose women’s cooperative societies in every taluk, media reports say. The government will give most of the funds needed for the purpose.

Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai revealed this while speaking in a function organized by cooperative organizations in Bengaluru.

The chief minister emphasized the importance of involving workers and women and the weaker sections of society in the cooperative sector.
