After NCUI, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel felicitated Harsh Sanghani, the newly elected President of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) Youth Committee, at an event in Amreli attended by Harsh’s uncle, Dileep Sanghani.
Sanghani briefed the CM on his achievements at the international cooperative forum. The ICA Youth Committee, a global body representing young cooperative leaders, promotes youth participation in policymaking, cooperative entrepreneurship, and leadership through toolkits, youth forums, and exchange programs.
Sanghani succeeds Spain-based Ana Aguirre and assumes leadership during the UN-declared International Year of Cooperatives 2025, underscoring youth empowerment in addressing global challenges like climate change, economic inequality, and sustainable livelihoods.
