According to New Indian Express, a high ranking official of cooperative department of Mahbubnagar had recently issued notices to wind up 24 bonded labour contract cooperative societies and 35 joint farming cooperative societies in Mahbubnagar division.
The official has called on members of such societies to make their claims if they have any before the formal winding up of the units.
