On Day 3, a key meeting of CICTAB members was chaired by NEDAC Chairman and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, Pankaj Kumar Bansal, IAS, with leading cooperative institutions from Sri Lanka.
The delegation included senior officials from the Department of Cooperative Development, the National Cooperative Council, NICD Polgolla, the SANASA Federation, and the Sri Lanka Consumers Cooperative Societies Federation.
The discussion highlighted CICTAB’s role in training agricultural banking professionals and advancing cooperative development across Asia and Africa. The collaboration aims to boost financial inclusion, strengthen cooperative models, and support sustainable growth in agriculture-driven economies.
