Rajasthan based Chittorgarh Urban Cooperative Bank Ltd. held its Board of Directors meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. I.M. Sethia, approving key financial and administrative decisions for the year ended March 31, 2026.
The board reported a total business of Rs 240 crore and a pre-tax profit of Rs 1.10 crore. It also approved the building plan sanctioned by the Municipal Council for construction of the bank’s head office in Gandhi Nagar, and decided to expedite the next stages of execution.
The meeting, conducted by Managing Director Vandana Vajirani, reviewed branch-wise performance, loan recovery, overdue accounts, and NPA management. The board further resolved to continue the concessional loan interest rates introduced during the bank’s silver jubilee until further notice. All provisions related to the annual closing of accounts were also approved.
Dr. Sethia stated that tendering and technical processes for the proposed head office will commence shortly.
The board also felicitated MD Vandana Vajirani on being conferred a Doctorate by Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Udaipur, for her research on the legal status of women in cooperative banks and institutions.
