Chintala gives out Nafscob awards to successful co-ops

In the Nafscob meeting held in Mumbai on Tuesday, co-operatives from the southern states bagged many awards. Out of 18 awards given away in different categories, the southern co-ops received 11 and the remaining 7 awards were won by coops from Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and others.

These awards were given away by Nabard Chairman Dr Govinda Chintala, Kribhco Chairman Chandra Pal Singh and some others.

In the overall performance awards-III Tier (2018-19) category, Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank, Gujarat State Cooperative Bank and Odisha State Cooperative Bank got the first, second and third prizes respectively. Whereas,in the Subhash Yadav Award -PACS (2018-19), Pappinivattom Service Co-op Bank, Kerala, Choppadandi (Karimnagar) Telangana, Kommugudem, Andhra Pradesh has received first, second and third prize respectively.

In the overall performance category of DCCBs, Andhra Pradesh based Krishna District Cooperative Central Bank got the second prize. The bank Chairman Yarlagadda Venkata Rao, CEO N.Rajaiah and his team collected the award from the guests on behalf of their bank.

Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank got the award in Group III- Recovery performance category.

Punjab State Cooperative Bank MD Hargunjit Kaur and her team bagged the Agricultural Cooperative Staff Training Institute category award.

Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Chairman Khushi Ram Balnatah along with its MD Dr. Pankaj Lalit (HAS) collected the first prize in the same category.
