Satish Gupta, Chairman of Chikhali Urban Cooperative Bank was honoured with the “Sahakar Ratna Award” in an event organized in Nashik last week.
Gupta received the award from Indian cine actor Gulshan Grover. Gupta was given the award for his relentless contributions to the Cooperative Sector.
The Chikhli UCB is also active in empowering women of society and launched a scheme namely “Bachat Ghar” in the interest of women.
We have disbursed loans to 35 thousand women amounting between Rs 10k to 50k so far, claimed an official of the UCB. The Bank is having over 28 branches across Maharashtra.
