In an unexpected turn of events, the elections for the Chandrapur (Maharashtra) Urban Multi-State Cooperative Credit Society went unopposed as all seven seats on the board of directors were uncontested.

The society’s board, which consists of seven directors, saw only seven candidates file their nomination papers, all of which were found valid. The unopposed candidates include Rohit Bommawar, Nemaji Atmaram, Amit Nanaji, Pratik Vilas, Shubhangi Amol, Manisha Atul, and Sandip Bhaurao.

Efforts to contact Rohit Bommawar, the chief promoter and Chairman of the society, for a reaction regarding the election were unsuccessful.

The election process will proceed with the election of office bearers on 19th February 2025, followed by the announcement of results, pending approval from the Cooperative Election Authority.

This society, which operates in both Maharashtra and Karnataka, has navigated the election process without opposition.
