NCUI President and Rajya Sabha MP from Samajwadi Party Chandra Pal Singh Yadav along with other opposition leaders took out a silent protest march in the Parliament complex against the farm bills.
The protesting MPs were standing with the placards with messages such as “Save Farmers, Save Workers, Save Democracy”. They also stood before Gandhi’s statue in a line.
“Today, outside the Parliament, along with MPs protesting against the farmers Bill”, wrote Chandra Pal Singh Yadav on his Facebook wall.
Members of Trinamool Congress, CPI, RJD, AAP, NCP, Congress, CPI-M participated in the protest. It bears recall that opposition leaders have also protested during the passage of the farm bills in Parliament.
