While Sahakar Bharati was busy organizing its conference in Lucknow, the ace co-operator of the region Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav was on a visit to Gujarat on the invitation of state co-operators which included NCUI President Dileep Sanghani and G H Amin.
Kribhco Chairman Chandra Pal Singh has been felicitated at the bungalow of NCUI President Dileepbhai Sanghani in Gujarat, for winning the recently concluded Presidential election of International Cooperative Alliance-Asia Pacific (ICA-AP).
Sanghani’s family and other members greeted Yadav in Indian Style and welcomed him by putting tika on his forehead. An emotional ICA-AP President thanked one and all.
On the occasion, Nafed Chairman Bijendra Singh, Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Kumar Singh, Gujarat State Cooperative Union Chairman G H Amin, local cooperators, and others were present.
Besides, Yadav was also felicitated in a function organized by Gujarat State Cooperative Union President G H Amin in the presence of many veteran cooperators.
Readers would recall that Chandra Pal polled 185 votes while his rival Chitose Arai of Japan polled only 83 votes. Yadav won by more than 102 votes, an unheard-of margin in international cooperative politics.
