A criminal masked and armed with a gun made away with Rs 8.65 lakh from Chandigarh state cooperative bank in on Monday, media reports say.
Police have registered a case under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code and also under the Arms Act.
A police source said the accused would soon be arrested. It is said the bank had no security guard and CCTV cameras were not functioning.
