Former TDP MLA and chairman of Sangam Dairy Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar was arrested last week by an ACB team. Narendra is accused of various financial and administrative irregularities.
“The allegations against Mr. Narendra are serious and the material available prima facie indicated abuse of official position, misappropriation of government assets for personal use, and various other offences,” said a press release by the ACB quotes the Hindu.
Meanwhile, TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu has condemned the arrest calling it nothing more than a political vendetta.
