The Cooperative Election Authority has given its nod to the newly elected Board of Directors of Shri Mangalnath Multistate Cooperative Credit Society, headquartered in Beed, Maharashtra.

The elections were held recently for seven director seats, all of which were declared unopposed.

Among the elected members from the general category are Sudhakar Bhagwanrao, Rameshwarappa Kanade, Narayan Malan Jadhav, and Ramesh Sapate. From the women’s category, Jaydevi Kanade and Shivkanya Rohinkar were elected, while Pradip Kharat secured the seat reserved for the Scheduled Caste category.

The election approval comes at a time when the society is celebrating a significant business milestone, having recently surpassed a Rs 500 crore business mix.

Originally established in 2011 as a multistate cooperative, Shri Mangalnath has completed over 25 years of cooperative service. Over the decades, the society has built a reputation for effectively supporting farmers, small borrowers, and microfinance initiatives, particularly in semi-urban and rural areas.

With the new Board in place and strong fundamentals, Shri Mangalnath Multistate is poised to expand its footprint further, contributing to cooperative banking’s mission of inclusive financial empowerment.
