The Cooperative Election Authority (CEA), under the leadership of Devendra Kumar Singh, has made significant progress in conducting elections for Multi-State Cooperative Societies since its establishment. As of now, the CEA has issued 117 election programs and appointed Returning Officers (ROs) to oversee the process.

Out of these, elections for 80 Boards of Directors and Office Bearers have been successfully completed under the supervision of the CEA. Meanwhile, elections for 37 Boards of Directors and Office Bearers are currently underway, as per the approved election programs.

In December 2024, elections for eight Multi-State Cooperative Societies (MSCS) were successfully concluded. Additionally, election programs for 20 societies were notified during the same month.

The CEA also ordered a re-election for Shri Bhairavnath Multi-State Cooperative Credit Society, Satara, with the election program being issued on December 17, 2024.

To ensure smooth execution and monitoring, the Authority conducted meetings on December 4, December 13, and December 20, 2024, discussing critical aspects of the election process and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The CEA continues to work diligently to uphold transparency and efficiency in the electoral processes of cooperative societies across the country.
