A news outlet reports a social activist has filed a case against union agriculture minister Radha Mohan Singh in the judicial magistrate’s court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar for his disparaging remarks against farmers.
The minister had said that the current farmers’ strike is aimed at getting media attention.Opposition parties have condemned minister’s remarks against farmers widely.
Later, Whatsapp photographs of the same group of people throwing milk and vegetable on roads at different locations lent somewhat credibility to Minister’s charge, BJP sources allege.
The case will come up for hearing next week.
