Kishore Kumar Kodgi, President and the Board of Management of CAMPCO have expressed their happiness at the govt initiative to fight out Yellow Leaf Disease currently affecting arecanut plantation.
In a press release Campco says Campco greatly appreciates and profusely thanks the Union Minister of Agriculture Shri Narendra Singh Tomar and Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, MoS for having responded to the requests submitted by CAMPCO and other Cooperatives and having come to the rescue of the Areca Farmers.
“The plantations of areca farmers have been critically affected with Yellow Leaf Disease and the govt has done well by forming a Committee of Experts for conducting Scientific Research towards finding a solution for the same.”
“The formation of the Expert Committee has brought huge relief to the affected Farmers who now heave a sigh of relief that the Government is with them and supports them”, said Kodgi, President CAMPCO in a Press Release.
CAMPCO will relentlessly continue its endeavour in supporting the farmers, he said.
