CAMPCO donates Rs 25 lakh to CM Fund

CAMPCO has donated Rs 25.00 lakh towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund for strengthening the fight against COVID-19, informs a press release.

S.R.Satischandra, President of Campco, in the presence of T.Somashekhar Minister for Cooperation and Shivaram Hebbar, Minister for Labour and Sanjeeva Matandoor, MLA Puttur and former Director of CAMPCO handed over the cheque to B.S.Yediyurappa, Karnataka Chief Minister on 28th April at the CM office in Bengaluru.

It is worth mentioning that CAMPCO has been buying produce from arenacut farmers during the lockdown.

The Campco’s move has greatly eased the farmers’ difficulties. CAMPCO has opened branches and these branches are buying the farmers’ produce strictly in accordance with the guidelines laid down by the Government for this purpose.
