Free Press Journal reports Burhanpur district court rejected bail plea of some of the people involved in the Rs 8.85 crore Nagrik Seva Sahakari Bank scam in Nepanagar tehsil of Burhanpur district in MP.
The local police have booked 16 accused in the case under relevant sections of the IPC for cheating and misappropriation of funds.
The cooperative department detected the scam. All those involved in the fraud are absconding.
