In Mumbai, the sessions court has rejected anticipatory bail applications filed by the secretary and chairperson of the Blue Peoples Cooperative Credit Society, as reported by HT.
The accused individuals are alleged to have siphoned off over Rs 13.5 crore of depositors’ funds.
The erring cooperative officials have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for their involvement in the financial misappropriation of depositors’ funds.
