Bihar based Nalanda District Cooperative Bank Chairman and MLA from Asthawan falls in Nalanda district of State, Jitendra Kumar has contributed Rs 1.25 lakh towards the Bihar Chief Minister Relief Fund for Covid-19 relief measures.
“I have made my personal contribution towards the CM relief fund for supporting the state government’s fight against coronavirus, said Kumar to this correspondent on the phone.
“We are also helping the needy and feeding the hungry people. We are committed to help the needy during this dark time, he added.
Earlier, the apex bank of Bihar DCCBs-Bihar State Cooperative Bank announced a donation of Rs one crore to the Bihar CM Relief Fund for Covid-19 relief measures.
Earlier, the Bihar government had appealed to villagers to inform the medical help centres and the local administration about people returning from other States in order to detect COVID-19 cases.
