Maharashtra based Raigad District Central Cooperative Bank Chief Executive Officer Mandar Vartak gave a presentation on ‘Story of Success & Innovations with Best Practices in HR Management’ during the two day National Conference organized by Nabard at BIRD, Lucknow.
With the HR initiatives, PACS are reforming in our district. The bank employees are working, as PACS secretaries and PACS expenses are reduced which leads to profitability. The bank is now on Nabard’s initiatives project of PACS computerization, he informed.
Vartak further added that the bank is taking help of earlier animators from the E-Shakti project to mobilise our retail deposits and loan portfolio. Besides, we are also in the process of appointing a third party Company to handle retail marketing of retail deposit and loan portfolio, which leads to reduction in indirect cost.
Highlighting the bank’s financial progress, he said, the bank’s total business mix stood at Rs 4925 crore and earned a net profit of Rs 25.75 crore as on 31st March 2023.
