Dr. N. Vijaya Lakshmi, IAS, Principal Secretary, Animal & Fisheries Resources Department and Chairperson & MD, COMFED, Shri Ramesh Kumar Mishra, General Manager, COMFED and other officials visited NDDB’s Eastern Regional office in Kolkata, West Bengal.
During the visit the COMFED officials were briefed about the dairy scenario in the eastern region and the ongoing dairy development and infrastructure projects being implemented by NDDB in Bihar.
The discussions revolved around exploring the potential areas of collaboration among dairy cooperatives in the region with an objective to create a win-win situation in milk procurement, processing and marketing, fostering cooperative values among cooperatives.
The officials also toured the office facilities, gaining insights into NDDB Kolkata’s operations and infrastructure.
