The 19 District Central Cooperative Banks of Bihar will go to the polls today.
The banks, which will go to the polls, include Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Siwan, Purnea, Samastipur, Vaishali, Gopalganj, Motihari, Ara, Nawada, Magadh, Patliputra, Sasaram, Munger, Sitamarhi, Bettiah, Katihar DCCB and others.
Meanwhile, in several DCCBs the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and few posts of directors have gone unopposed. For instance, Mahesh Rai has been again elected unopposed for the top post of Gopalganj DCCB. But the said bank’s two posts including Vice-Chairman and Director (General) will go to the polls.
Besides, Satyendra Narayan Singh has been elected unopposed as the Chairman of Ara DCCB. In the said bank, the elections will be held for five seats.
