Bihar Cooperation Minister Dr. Prem Kumar visited the Sahkar Gallery and Udaipur Central Cooperative Bank’s head office at Pratapnagar as part of preparations for the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, media reports say.
He appreciated the gallery’s visual chronicle of the bank’s journey since 1956. Managing Director Dr. Mehzabeen Bano outlined the bank’s cooperative-driven development efforts.
A review meeting followed, attended by Bihar officials including Samresh Kumar and Anand Kumar, where both Rajasthan and Bihar teams exchanged views on innovative, farmer-centric cooperative models.
Dr. Kumar also planted a sapling under the “Tree Plantation in Mother’s Name” initiative.
