According to media reports, the boards of nine district cooperative banks of Bihar can be superseded. The RBI has asked the cooperative department for reviewing the financial positions of these banks.
Meanwhile, Cooperative Department Secretary Bandana Preyasi has directed the officials to review the situation of the banks.
It is being said that the management of these nine cooperative banks can be taken over by the government.
