West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar’s tweet regarding the Bhatpara Naihati Cooperative Bank scam involving BJP MP Arjun Singh’s kin’s alleged involvement in the financial scam has triggered controversy, reports Millennium Post.
The governor said given the state’s involvement with covid 19 such developments would only weaken the state’s fight against the corona virus.
Police say despite the notices served by them, none of the accused persons appeared before them.
Meanwhile, the complainant of the case has urged the governor to allow a free and fair investigation in the matter.
