Bharat Taxi Launch brings new hope for Drivers: Sarthi Didis
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The inauguration of Bharat Taxi in Delhi has been welcomed enthusiastically by drivers, who see the initiative as a major step towards economic independence. Expressing her happiness, a woman driver associated with the service said the most significant aspect of Bharat Taxi is that it is India’s own platform, where drivers do not have to share their earnings with intermediaries and can retain their full income.

Another driver described the launch as a joyful moment, noting that Bharat Taxi offers freedom from aggregator platforms such as Ola, Uber and Rapido. He termed the initiative a commendable effort by the Government of India to empower drivers and improve their livelihoods.

Drivers said the new service promises greater transparency, dignity of work and financial security. Bharat Taxi is being viewed as a cooperative and driver-friendly alternative that places earnings and control directly in the hands of those behind the wheel.
