According to media reports, a scam has broken involving the branches of Bihar based Bhagalpur Central Cooperative Bank. The officers and personnel of the bank have embezzled Rs 55 lakh.
The process of legal action has been initiated after the matter came to light in the special audit.
After the instructions of the Registrar of Cooperatives, the District Cooperative Officer has ordered registering an FIR against 11 officers and personnel.
