Uttar Pradesh-based Bareilly District Cooperative Bank organized its 41st Annual General Meeting last week and announced that the bank earned a net profit of Rs 1.15 crore in 2020-21.
During the financial year, the bank has done well in maintaining the NPA level. The latter went down from 17.77 percent to 9.57 percent. It is said that out of 21 crores levied on the deceased defaulters, seven crores have been recovered. Due to this, the recovery of the bank also increased by 4.15 percent.
On this occasion, the proposed budget and action plan for the year 2021-22 were presented.
Minister of State for Revenue Chhatrapal Gangwar expressed happiness over the decreasing NPA of the bank. MP Santosh Kumar, Aonla MP Dharmendra Kashyap, and others were present.
