Addressing the Annual General Meeting of Uttar Pradesh Banda District Central Cooperative Bank last week, Cooperative Minister Mukut Verma said Cooperative banks are providing loans to farmers at the rate of 3 percent.
The minister highlighted the work the government has done for cooperatives.
The bank CEO Anoop Kumar presented the financial report before the delegates which was unanimously passed.
On the occasion, PWD State Minister Chandrika Prasad, MP R K Singh Patel, MLA Prakash Diwedi, Bank Chairman Badrivishal Tripathy and others were present.
It is reported that cooperative banks in the state are providing van ATM facilities to their customers.
