During the recently concluded ICA Global Assembly 2025 in Manchester, UK, IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U.S. Awasthi brought significant attention to India’s cooperative movement by sharing insights into the transformative four-year journey of the Ministry of Cooperation.
Addressing the global gathering of cooperative leaders, he highlighted India’s comprehensive action plan for the growth and empowerment of cooperatives under the visionary leadership of Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah.
His address emphasized the Ministry’s efforts to realize the vision of “Sahakar Se Samriddhi” as envisioned by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In addition to Dr. Awasthi, several other Indian cooperators also participated in the ICA Assembly, reaffirming India’s commitment to global cooperative values while showcasing the country’s unique model of community-led development through cooperation.
