IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi met Oman Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik’s state visit to India and interacted with him. Soon after the meeting, Awasthi shared the details through social media.
He wrote on ‘X’, “Today, I met His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman at New Delhi during an official dinner. It was a nice & warm interactive meeting. The Sultan of Oman is in New Delhi on a state visit. It’s his first visit to India as the top leader of the Gulf nation. IFFCO has a successful Joint Venture; OMIFCO @OMIFCO in Oman”.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held talks with Oman’s Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik at the Hyderabad house.
It bears recall that Oman based OMIFCO is owned 50% by Oman Oil Company SAOC (OQ), 25% by Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) & 25% by Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO).
